Departure Control Systems (DCS) play a critical role in managing flight operations and passenger movement. However, the core DCS does not store or expose passenger contact details, such as mobile numbers, directly from booking data. This limitation created communication gaps and operational challenges, especially when teams needed to contact passengers close to departure time. The Guest Bridge Application was introduced as a supporting layer alongside the existing DCS. It retrieves passenger contact and booking information from booking systems using PNR data and makes it available within operational workflows—without modifying core DCS functionality or increasing manual effort.
